Warwick Whisp
Warwick was the only child of Leopoldina Smethwyck and Alcaster Whisp. He had a fairly normal childhood, growing alongside the family cat. That was up until he was eight years old. That’s when his father’s illegal experimenting with charms surfaced, and after Alcaster got sent to Azkaban, it was only him and his mother.
He showed a proficiency for Quidditch early on in his life, something his mother encouraged with vigour. In his second year he got on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, of which he made Captain by his sixth year. He played with such skill and ferociousness that as soon as he graduated he had offers from no less than three Scottish Quidditch teams. His career in the Wigtown Wanderers was a shining one. It wasn’t long before he played for the Scottish National team, and participated in the 1886 Quidditch World Cup, where Scotland came fifth place.
After his career as a Beater was over, he became the manager for the Wanderers. Around that time he met a lovely Muggle woman, living not far from the Wanderers’ training grounds. He used to see her at the local tavern, and Warwick fed head over heels in love, admiring her from afar for months. After he finally mustered up the courage to speak to her, it only took three weeks until he proposed. The couple got married on the Airds Moss Quidditch stadium, and the wedding was attended by no other than Madam Yekaterina Alkonosta, the chairman of the International Confederation of Wizards Quidditch Committee.
